Benoît Moret studied drama at the École Jean Périmony from 2004 to 2007. In September 2007 he joined the Comédie des Trois Bornes where he played in Mais n'te promène donc pas toute nue, On purge Bébé and Electrocardiodrame. He subsequently acted at the Point-Virgule (Le Bossu de Notre-Dame), the Palais des Glaces (Tout le plaisir est pour nous), the Théâtre 13 and the Lucernaire (Le Misanthrope, Young Directors award), the Splendid and the Comédie de Paris (Mission Florimont). He joined the Atelier de Pierre Palmade, later the Troupe à Palmade, where he thrived as an actor and writer, later acting in several of his own pieces such as Sketch Collection, L’Entreprise and Femmes Libérées at the Gaîté-Montparnasse, the Comédie de Paris, and at the Théâtre Tristan-Bernard.
In 2013, he performed in A Flanc de colline at the Théâtre Tristan-Bernard, the first play he wrote, for which he was awarded the Playwrights Prize from the Fondation Diane et Lucien Barrière.
During that time he was the host of the improv show Enfin te voilà on Comédie +, which he adapted and in which he also appeared as an actor on a regular basis.
In 2014 he took up Pierre Mortez's role in Le Père Noël est une ordure, also at the Théâtre Tristan-Bernard, staged by Pierre Palmade.
From 2012 to 2015, he directed the TV series Lazy Company (OCS, seasons 1, 2, and 3), wrote for and acted in En famille (M6 Series). He also acted in the feature-length films Goal of the Dead 1 & 2, and Tu veux ou tu veux pas, by Tonie Marshall.
Since August 28, 2015 he has been in Ça n’arrive pas qu’aux autres at the Café de la Gare, which he co-wrote and co-staged with Nicolas Martinez.
