Christine Reverho comes from a circus family. She began her career as an actress in plays by Anouilh, Billetdoux and Marivaux. While continuing to perform on the stage, she also acted in films for television and worked for several seasons at the Théâtre Montansier de Versailles, where she played Magdelon in Molière’s Les Précieuses Ridicules with Francis Perrin. Stéphan Meldegg cast her in Alan Ayckbourn’s Communicating doors, and Éric Civanyan directed her in Ray Cooney’s Funny Money. Parallel to her career as an actress, she made a name for herself as a screenwriter for numerous television films and series (H Canal plus, Caméra café M6). She also worked on the animated film adaptation of Claire Brétécher’s Agrippine.
Petit Déjeuner compris (dir. by Annick Blancheteau, Théâtre Fontaine, 2004; Théâtre Jean Duceppe, Montreal, 2005; on tour in Canada in 2006; éd. Art & Comédie) is her first play.
