Actes du Théâtre February 2013

Jacques Albert is a playwright and dancer. His plays SIG Sauer Pro, Le Bon chemin and Día de mucho, víspera de nada were published by éditions Théâtrales (March 2012).
Cours les Prairies will be staged in the upcoming season by Das Plateau (dir. by Céleste Germe) with the Comédie de Reims, Centre Dramatique National, the Théâtre de Vanves, l’Onyx, and the Grande Halle de la Villette.

During the 2009-2010 season, Das Plateau staged successively Le Bon chemin, SIG Sauer Pro and Día de mucho, víspera de nada. These various projects were presented, among other venues, at the Ménagerie de Verre in Paris, at the Théâtre national de Strasbourg, for the Soirées Nomades at the Fondations Cartier, at the Théâtre Garonne, the TJCC at the CDN de Gennevilliers, at Mains d'Œuvres and for the Actoral festival.
Das Plateau recently worked on Notre printemps, awarded a CNT cross-disciplinary theater grant. The production premiered in March 2012 at the CDN de Gennevilliers and is currently on tour.

Jacques Albert was invited to take part in the Atelier Opéra en Création at the Aix-en-Provence Festival in 2009, at SKITE-2010, an international creative laboratory run by Jean-Marc Adolphe, and at the Sala Beckett’s international workshop in Barcelona, in partnership with the SACD.
Dieu t'aime, his first play, was published by l'Harmattan (2006), and SIG Sauer Pro was translated and published in German in the collection Scène 12, Neue französische Theaterstücke (dir. by Barbara Engelhart). Staged readings of SIG Sauer Pro have also been held at the Mousson d'été, at the Colline and at the Lieu Unique (Actoral), as well as at the Théâtre du Rond-Point.
SIG Sauer Pro and Dia de mucho, vispera de nada were broadcast on France Culture radio.
