Actes du Théâtre n°77 September 2014

Michèle Guigon was an actress, composer and accordeon player with Jérôme Deschamps from 1978 to 1985, as well as a playwright and director.
Alain Crombecque, director of the Festival d'Avignon commissioned her to stage three productions: Marguerite Paradis (1985), Etats d’amour (1986), and Le Cabaret du p’tit matin (1992).
Claude Régy encouraged her to apply for a Villa Médicis Hors-Les-Murs grant, which she was awarded in 1990.

She subsequently staged fifteen productions with her troupe, and then solo shows.
Her solo La Vie Va Où ?... premiered at the Espace 1789 Saint-Ouen – where she was an associate artist – in April 2008. It was revived in Paris at the Lavoir Moderne Parisien, the Lucernaire, the Théâtre du Rond-Point (Oct.-Nov. 2010) and at the Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne (CH) (Feb. 2011), and is still touring.
It was published by CAMINOVERDE (www.caminoverde.com) as a book and CD.
The piece is being performed in Italy by La Compagnia Italiana de Prosa and in Croatia by Elis Loric.
