Isabelle Le Nouvel is a playwright and actress. Her first play, Big Apple, premiered in 2014 at the Théâtre de l’Ouest Parisien and was revived at the Théâtre de Paris, staged by Niels Arestrup and starring Marianne Basler and Christophe Malavoy. Her second play, Le Syndrôme de l’écossais, premiered in January 2016 at the Théâtre des Nouveautés, staged by Jean-Louis Benoit and starring Thierry Lhermitte and Bernard Campan, among others. The text is to be published by L’Avant-Scène Théâtre in March 2016. She has just written her third play, 88 fois l’infini.

Isabelle Le Nouvel has also written screenplays for short films, including L’Invitation, directed by Niels Arestrup, starring Guillaume Gallienne and La Tête de l’emploi directed by the writer and starring Gisèle Casadesus and Isabelle Sadoyan.

Her acting credits include:
Savannah Bay by Marguerite Duras, La Dernière Nuit by Didier Decoin, The Taming of the Shrew by Shakespeare, L'Émission de télévision by Michel Vinaver, Uncle Vania by Anton Chekhov; she has played Juliette in Romeo and Juliette, and Cosette in Les Misérables, has acted in Beyrouth hôtel by Rémi de Vos, and with Niels Arestrup under the direction of Jacques Lassalle in Visite au père by Roland Schimmelpfennig.
