Sophie Jabès is a writer, playwright, screenwriter and producer.
Alice la saucisse, her first novel, published in 2003 by Editions Verticales, was followed by Caroline assassine in 2004 (Murat 2005, Lycée Auguste Blanqui 2005 Prize), Clitomotrice in 2005, published by Jean-Claude Lattès, and L'Homme de la Mer Noire, in 2008 by Editions du Rocher. In April 2011, La Duchesse de Singapour was published by Editions Pierre Guillaume de Roux.
In 2010, she wrote her first stage play, La Chambre, followed by Camille, Camille, Camille, a play about Camille Claudel and, in 2013, finished On va tous mourir.
She has been a producer in the U.S. and in France, in particular for TF1 and France 3, has written for Arte, Kien productions and BFC productions.
Born in Milan, raised in Rome, Italian in her heart and soul by "cerebrally French," she lived in Singapore for four years and several years in the United States. She is currently living and writing in Paris.
