Translation Database

The Translation Database, created by Entr’Actes in 1997, lists existing translations of contemporary Francophone plays in all languages.

Data can be searched by playwright, translator, language and country, as well as by linguistic areas.
The Translation Database is continually updated with new data related to promotion and performances abroad. It helps in promoting plays and producing events in foreign countries.

This information is not yet available online, so please send us an email describing your project in detail. In our reply, we will discuss the specifics of our collaboration and ensure that the rights to the plays selected (5 maximum) are available for the desired period.

Obtaining this information about the rights to a work can take time, as it involves contacting the concerned party.
