Characters : 2 women - 3 men -

NOËL Kadoche and Boutboul. I'm just saying they were two assholes ... who were Jewish! I can't believe it - having names like that when you're in high-end real estate. Okay why not, if you're selling jeans or chain bracelets, but it doesn't sound too trustworthy when you're marketing 2 to 3 million euro houses.
Max, Jeff and Mélanie stare at each other in disbelief.
NOËL (articulating as if they hadn't understood) Kadoche and Boutboul.
MÉLANIE Right, they have Jewish names. So what?
NOËL Their names aren't the only things that are Jewish. They were hell to deal with on a daily basis.
GREG Because they were Jewish?
NOËL There are some things that just can't be mistaken. Obsessed with money, coarse, dishonest, hateful to the weak, obsequious to the powerful ... (Emboldened.) Lots of Jews are like that!!

Jeff and Greg are stunned. Mélanie clears her throat.

NOËL (relenting) Did I commit a faux-pas? Is anyone here Jewish?
NOËL Are you sure? … Jeff, are you Jewish?
JEFF Me? … Yes, I am.
GREG No, Jeff, you are not Jewish!
